Really spot on. It’s been a nightmare trying to alert leftist friends, who would label themselves anti-war and think of Iraq and Afghanistan, stick their heads firmly in the sand on Syria. You’re promoting Trump if you dare question Biden and Blinken’s warhawkery.
And our (truly massive) arms deals with the UAE are enabling civil war in Sudan…the plan keeps playing out.
One thing I see practically no coverage of (definitely none in the US), is AUKUS. This is a promise to militarize the South Pacific with nuclear-capable submarines over the next several decades. Biden and Blinken claim that China is posturing for an invasion of Taiwan by developing amphibious craft, while conveniently failing to mention the big underwater threat we placed on their doorstep first.
Oh, yeah. Their China policy is another example of dangerous hubris and folly. I have liberal friends stare at me all doe-eyed, saying, "Aren't you afraid of China?" War with China would entail human misery on a scale never seen before. I've lived in China, and while it was a drag, I'll tell you right now that our media -- print, cable news, all of it -- is nothing more than State Department propaganda and lies tarted up with a bit of corporate narrative control. Russiagate? Good grief. Our propaganda is 10X more effective because it isn't allowed to present as propaganda, it has to be more sophisticated because it's sewn into the cultural messaging that we swim in 24/7: movies, the news, HR regulations, billboards, cliched nonsense you hear at corporate team building activities, subjects you can't address at parties because of social mores meant to curb the evolution of political consciousness... You can't escape it. When I see someone I have known for 30 years, a PhD in the humanities, believe something like Russiagate and vote for a war criminal, I'm staggered. The enemy -- liberal Dems, Republicans, corporate America, the weapons industry, the Davos crowd -- knows its hustle and does it better than anyone on the real left, and they're winning the war of narrative control. We have a lot of catching up to do to create a counter-hegemony.

Blinken is a notorious liar, as too many of the Western leaders.
