They have always been worse because of their nauseating, hollow, phony, and incessant virtue signaling. And without that, they are nothing. They hide behind a veil that is gossamer, threadbare. Call me extreme (at least by liberal standards), but I truly believe these Limousine Liberals should considered themselves very, very, VERY lucky (undeserving as it might be) to be living in a Liberal (pseudo) Democracy; because if they pull off this omnicidal type of hazardous tomfoolery within China, Russia or Vietnam; the worst of their lot will be sent to the firing squad, whilst lesser collaborators will never see proper daylight for the rest of their lives.
I am half-glad, half-cautious about the Trump's adminstration's dismantling of the USAID (which is nothing more than a front for regime-change & a primer for colour revolutions); Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald and Scott Ritter might be happy about the practical results of this arrangement; and whilst I am tempted to agree, I can't be too optimistic as this current administration is very likely using other means of imperialism through bullish means. I really like Malcolm X's metaphor of comparing Democrats to sly foxes and Republicans brutal wolves because of how uncannily-stereotypical the two wings (really just one wing if you pay attention, but that's beside the point) have morphed into. Whereas the Democrats try to put an instagram-filter on their imperialism and make it "look nice" in their clandestine ways; on the other hand, the Republicans go "fuck it, we do it maximum overdrive! 'Murica 4-ever baby!!" figured out that clandestine imperialism takes too damn long to have its immediate effect and decide to brute force their way into making American Empire no.1 in the world by hook & by (mostly) crook, global mutual feelings be damned. It is the Wolfowitz Doctrine on steroids.
