Inside the Hallucination of a Blue Dog Democrat
I am planning to write a book about the death of the Fourth Estate and cognitive dissonance among liberals in the post-Trump era. I believe that what we are witnessing is a pathological state of mass denial that makes conversing with most liberal Dems impossible. They come at me, constantly, with insane, utterly hallucinated nonsense assumptions and responses from left field. They are completely unprepared for and unaware of the existence of any critique from those left of the Democratic Party.
This is from a Democrat after I left a note suggesting not to vote for either party because of the genocide. No mention of Trump. This is the kind of brain rot that has set into a frightening number of Democratic minds. Nothing but a string of straw man arguments and ad hominem attacks. His Frogness may delete it since I told him I helped organize and marched in LA's biggest anti-Trump rally the weekend after the election. But there’s just as much of a chance that he’ll double down and accuse me of lying even though he’ll find no proof anywhere for his fabulations.
That or he’ll tell me I’m a Putin Puppet.
It’s interesting that it comes from a liberal Democrat because it’s full of homophobic remarks, which is also troubling. He sounds like a MAGA kook when he spouts that rubbish. The flow is pretty standard bro-dude machismo so I assume it’s a male.
