Why the Hunter Biden Laptop Story is Monumental

Now that Trump-level graft is exposed, are Dems ready to admit they chose the Greater Evil?

So yeah, here you go. What more do you want? I mean in terms of proof. What more do you need to confirm that Genocide Joe is in power because you’ve been fed a severely ideologically slanted narrative, most of the time outright propaganda, a ubiquitous and constant flow of messaging that surrounds you like a fog? This 24-hour-a-day bullshit machine keeps the Empire afloat, keeps war and Genocide humming along at a blistering pace, and has morphed into a censorship apparatus that has essentially demolished the First Amendment.

How many reporters and cable news anchors confirmed for us that the laptop was nothing but Russian meddling? “Nothing to worry about, dears, so get your asses back to work…”

Here are some of the intelligence stooges who smeared the NY Post for running a story that has now been 100% corroborated: CIA officers Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Emile Nakhleh, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher and Gerald O’Shea, and ex-Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director Douglas Wise are still in trouble for letting Genocide Joe strongarm them into perjuring themselves. Well, since it was a public document and not part of a court case, it isn’t perjury, just a diabolical lie.

This is why they wanted the story dead — not because it was frivolous, but because it involved serious corruption. Now Hunter will be a convicted felon, and aside from his tax evasion problem, it’s pretty clear that this isn’t the end of his woes. There are still ongoing probes into his influence-peddling not only in China but also in Ukraine, where Hunter sat on the board of an energy company even though he knew nothing about the industry. He’s Jared Kushner, and his corrupt father is a war criminal according to the definition of the United Nations and all of the world’s international criminal courts.

Biden has permission to behave as badly as Trump and get away with it. Plus, when he goes even further and commits genocide, the party closes ranks and offers unwavering support.

Glenn Greenwald, Pulitzer winner, First Amendment warrior, constitutional lawyer, and perhaps the most important journalist of the 21st century, even had to resign from the paper he co-founded when The Intercept refused to publish his (accurate) piece corroborating the NY Post story.

I counted dozens of Hunter Biden laptop stories from MSNBC alone, each one almost identical to this interview with Michael McFaul in 2020, in which he spouts more nonsense about Russian disinformation that he assuredly knew was bogus. It’s almost as preposterous as Biden’s lies claiming he knew nothing of his son’s “thoroughly legal” business dealings. In fact, Hunter Biden’s business partner claims Joe Biden was in on everything, which certainly looks to be the case.

I have no idea why the public is adamantly opposed to looking honestly at a man whose entire career has been nothing but an assault on the working class, people of color, and citizens all around the globe, who die in our bloody escapades to ensure American military hegemony and a future of unfettered, apocalyptic, neoliberal finance capitalism and austerity politics.

Biden wrote the mega-racist and draconian Crime Bill of 1994, helped write the Patriot Act, and was the principal Democratic voice pushing for war with Iraq. He’d been obsessed with taking down Saddam Hussein years before the 911 attacks. Now, he’s built the most notorious and far-reaching censorship apparatus this country has ever seen. Chris Hedges, who has spent his life covering disintegrating societies as a foreign correspondent, claims that what we’re seeing right now is as bad as what he saw the Stasi do in East Germany, an American riff on philosopher Sheldon Wolin’s concept of “Inverted Totalitarianism.” Everything is upside down. Kamala Harris, the vice president and a millionaire who does the bidding of billionaires, is presented as a victim because she’s a woman of color. The truth is that she kept people of color in jail over minor, non-violent offenses despite prison overcrowding. She is not weak or threatened in any way. She’s an oppressor and a Genocider.

The laptop story is the mise-en-abyme of the Biden presidency, a central metaphor that ties together the principal themes of his administration and US foreign policy: war, genocide, graft, and censorship, all rolled up into one powerful, coercive, state apparatus ruled over by a demented, genocidal grifter.

Might as well add to that rigging the elections and appointing candidates via fiat.

We can’t read Russian or Syrian newspapers. The government can take down any social media post they don’t like. People like Matt Taibbi, who report on the topic, get threatened with jail or harassed by the IRS.

If you voted for Biden and still don’t feel bamboozled, then I have a 1959 Edsell I could let you have for a song. I guess when the Democrats start throwing queer rights activists in jail for opposing war, then people may start to understand what's happening.
