I love Jimmy, but I don't know what's up. I have defended him from insane criticism and smears time and time again, and I mean it, I would organize resistance were he ever banned. But I can't ignore this, and there are a lot of other things he's been doing. One day he brought on a state congresswoman who wanted to change some California legislation that made it OK for underage queer kids to be in relationships. Her bill was nuts, reactionary. It would have meant that any adult who contacted an underage sex worker posing as an adult, even unwittingly and with no intention of having sex with a minor, would face penitentiary time. Even if no sex occurred and the blame was clearly attributed to the sex worker. It was typical of all draconian sex law and played to the fears of parents who were worried about child molesters lurking in every corner. But it was bad law, for sure. I'll try to find it because I hate not sourcing things. He's been getting intellectually lazy, not doing his background homework and research. Plus he seems way more pissed off after kicking the cannabis. I don't know what's up, but same here - I agree, it's a pity. He was the last person I'd ever expect to lose his shit and I'm hoping it's just a transitory aberration. He really has not been himself.
